lAKE JERICHO
since July of 1969
Lake Jericho has been open since July of 1969. In the late 1950's, recurring flooding caused continuous damage to thousands of acres of cropland in both Henry and Trimble Counties. To prevent greater loss, Lake Jericho was constructed to serve as a flood-reduction dam as well as a recreation area. Today, this beautiful stretch of Kentucky wilderness invites visitors to relax, fish, play on the lake, and enjoy the serenity.
